Design reference. Hundreds of slim black vertical bars project at varied lengths across this door face. The staggered relief creates a dense architectural texture, with deeper shadows forming an irregular pattern instead of a conventional handle-led composition.
Build the texture from a controlled module
Bar width can remain consistent while lengths and projection change. A repeat map should prevent accidental clusters and keep the perimeter clean. Reserve a flatter, comfortable zone wherever the handle, lock or access control will sit.
Use shadow as the primary variation
The monochrome surface changes through light rather than multiple colors. Review a physical relief sample under daylight and entrance lighting, including how it will be cleaned. Material, coating, structure, opening direction and any pivot configuration are not established by the image and require project selection.
