Can you make pivot front doors taller than 3 metres?
Yes. We make pivot entrance doors up to 4,000 mm wide and 8,000 mm high. Every door is made to your opening and drawing, from one door.
Does Australia’s anti-dumping case on Chinese aluminium doors apply to these doors?
Case 691 of the Australian Trade Remedies Commission (called the Anti-Dumping Commission until 29 September 2026) covers aluminium windows and doors from China up to and including 3.0 m high (doors up to 7.0 m wide). Provisional securities have applied since 15 October 2026, and the final recommendation is due by 16 December 2026. Doors taller than 3.0 m fall outside the published goods description. How is the door built?
From outside to inside: the front panel, a galvanised steel sheet, an aluminium profile frame with an aluminium honeycomb core, a second galvanised steel sheet, and the inner panel.
Which pivot hinge do you fit on a tall door?
FritsJurgens pivot hinges, hidden inside the door, with only small plates showing at the floor and the head. We fit the system that matches the door’s weight and how you want it to swing, and test it in our workshop before the door is crated. In the FritsJurgens 2022 catalogue, System M+ is listed for doors of 20–500 kg, depending on door width.
What can the face be made of?
Carved aluminium is the face we make most. We also make cast-aluminium faces, and faces in sintered stone, glass, wood or copper.
Which Australian standards should I check?
AS 2047 applies to windows and external glazed doors, so tell us early if your door includes glass. In bushfire-prone areas, AS 3959 sets construction requirements for external doors, and your certifier will confirm the BAL for the site. We do not currently hold Australian certification for these doors. If your project needs testing, we can arrange it with a test lab; the buyer usually pays the fee.
How long does it take, and how is the door shipped?
Production takes 35–45 days from drawing approval and receipt of the deposit. Prices are EXW at our factory in Wuyi, in US dollars, so your freight forwarder collects the door. We send photographs and video of the finished door before shipment and pack it in blankets, foam and a wooden crate.
Who installs the door?
You appoint a local installer. We provide installation drawings for every order and remote guidance during installation.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes. A 20 × 20 cm carved and painted aluminium sample costs about USD 50, and a scaled door sample using the actual construction costs USD 800. Dealers can put a full-size sample door on their showroom floor.
Who do you sell to?
Trade buyers only: architects, builders, door dealers and developers. We do not sell directly to homeowners.
How do I start?
Send us on WhatsApp who you are, the city, the opening size (W × H) and quantity, and a drawing or photo of the opening. We reply within 12 hours. Video tours of the factory run Monday to Saturday, 14:00–18:00 China time: the same clock time in Perth, and 17:00–21:00 in Sydney and Melbourne during daylight saving.
